Description: 

A New Zealand native grass like plant with a creeping habit.

Upright brownish green leaves with an orange midrib.

Flowers are borne on panicles that are within the foliage. The flowers are white and seen October to January.

It is a great plant for harsh conditions i.e sandy soils, coastal areas.

Under stress the orange colouring is more intense

Ht: up to 40cm

Uses: 

Foliage contrast, difficult areas, New Zealand native gardens, border plants or groundcover.

Propagation: 

By seed or division.
